Copyright and DMCA policy
The site is written by The Rebuild Desk and quotes vendor pages briefly with links. If you think something here infringes your copyright, this page explains what to send.
1. Our approach
We respect intellectual property. We respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.
2. How to send a notice
Use the contact form and choose the topic "Copyright notice". The form then asks for the elements listed below.
3. What a notice must contain
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- Identification of the material on this site you say infringes it, with its URL.
- Your contact information, including an email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
4. Counter-notification
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notification through the same form. It must include your signature, identification of the material and where it appeared before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and telephone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.
We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notification, unless the person who sent the notice tells us they have filed a court action.
5. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages. Please check your facts before sending.
6. Repeat infringers
The site has no user uploads. If we ever publish contributed material, we will stop accepting material from anyone who repeatedly infringes.
7. Forwarding notices
We may forward a notice or counter-notification to the party concerned.
