Site policy
Privacy policy
This policy describes what the site actually does with personal data. It is short because the site collects very little.
1. Who we are
Cloud Resilience Compare at cloudresiliencecompare.com is published by Alegria Media and Consulting Ltd. ("we"). We decide how the limited personal data described here is used. You can reach us only through the contact page.
2. What we collect
The site has no user accounts, no payments and no comments. The ranking, comparison and estimator tools work without personal data. We receive personal data in two ways only.
- Contact form. When you send a message we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. If you send a copyright notice we also receive the work you identify, the URL of the material, your two statements and your electronic signature.
- Hosting logs. The hosting provider automatically records technical data for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to keep the site running and secure.
3. Browser storage and third parties
The site sets no cookies. The tools keep their settings in the page address (the query string), so you can share or bookmark a result. Nothing is written to localStorage or sessionStorage.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When they load, your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google. There are no analytics and no advertising scripts. See the cookie policy for detail.
4. Why we use it and on what legal basis
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR we rely on our legitimate interests to run and secure the site and to answer the messages you send us. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Israel, where we are based, has an adequacy decision from the European Commission.
7. How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to handle your request and any follow-up, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by the hosting provider.
8. Your rights
EU and UK. You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and portability, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA as amended by the CPRA). You can ask to know what we hold, to delete it and to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, which we do not do. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Israel. You have the rights given by the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, including the right to review and correct information held about you.
9. How to make a request
Use the contact form with the topic "Privacy request". We may ask for information to confirm the request is yours before acting on it.
10. Children
The site is written for technology buyers and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes to this policy
If what the site collects changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
